Police have been called in after a scooter fire in York.
Firefighters went to the incident on Garnet Terrace at 6.44pm last night (Wednesday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “York crew were mobilised to reports of a fire initially believed to be a tree.

“After inspection the crew stated this was a fire involving an abandoned scooter. Crew used a hose reel jet and the incident was left in the hands of police due to doubtful origin.”
