Police incident in York – Street cordoned off

A street has been cordoned off by police this evening (Thursday).

Trinity Lane is behind tape along its entire length, from the Micklegate end to its junction with Bishophill Junior.

Both cars and pedestrians are barred from entering.

Incident location

Earlier, at around 4pm, around eight police vehicles and an ambulance went to the street.

They parked outside Trinity Court.

A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Ambulance resources responded to an incident at a private address on Trinity Lane, York on Thursday afternoon.

“No further details are available.”
