Police and fire crews were called to a late night incident involving a woman in water in the early hours.
It happened at around 12.40am today (Sunday) at Millfield Lane, Nether Poppleton, York.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Police requested fire assistance for a female, believed inebriated, standing in a shallow stream, not in danger but unwilling to move with husband also present.
