A fire in a York play park was started deliberately, firefighters believe.
They were called to the incident on Burton Stone Lane at 8.28pm last night (Wednesday).
A pile of cardboard boxes has been on fire. It was out when a York crew arrived.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews dampened down the area with a fire bucket and the police were informed due to the belief the fire had been started deliberately.”
