Emergency services were called after a fire was started deliberately in York today (Sunday).
Firefighters went to the incident on Alcuin Avenue at 4.25pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The York crew responded to a report of youths starting a rubbish fire.

“A repeat caller stated that police were also in attendance. Bucket of water used to dampen down.”
