Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in a York layby.
Two men were seen to attack a car parked in the layby off Shipton Road at about 9pm on the night of Friday, 15 July.
Both men were dressed in black.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson urged anyone with information to come forward: “In particular, we are appealing for information about the two men who are described as wearing all black clothing.”
The car is described as silver.
