A man has died in a crash near a bar in Thirsk.
It happened just before 10.30pm on Sunday (7 June) in the Market Place.
A white Mercedes A Class car and a pedestrian collided outside the Nova Bar.

The pedestrian, a 61-year-old local man, died at the scene despite the efforts of firefighters and paramedics.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 46-year-old man from Darlington, is assisting the police investigation.
The Market Place was closed to traffic until 6am on Monday while the emergency services worked at the scene and to allow the vehicle to be safely recovered.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
