A parked car was hit and damaged by a vehicle which did not stop.
The collision happened near the Knavesmire pub and hotel on Albemarle Road in South Bank, York.
An unattended black Mini was been hit by an unknown vehicle between between 9pm and 11pm on Sunday, 5 March.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
