Owners ‘delighted’ by response to new cafe in York

A new cafe has opened in York this week – and it’s going down a treat.

Another Brother has opened on 3 Nessgate in York, in what was previously home to Drift-In cafe before it announced that it was merging with its sister venue on Clifford Street in September last year.

Now, the building has a new lease of life for a new spot for coffee and brunch in the city centre.

Another Brother was founded by two brothers from Sheffield, Joey and Eddy. They already have five locations all over London – and this sixth venue in York is the first to venture North.

It opened on Thursday this week, and it’s already garnering a great response.

Joey told YorkMix that they’re “really pleased with the site in York, and we were delighted with the opening day.

“People seemed to enjoy it and we’re looking forward to our first weekend!”

The cafe serves a tasty selection of brunch dishes, salads, toasties, sandwiches and wraps, as well as a wide range of hot and cold drinks.

Another Brother is open seven days a week. It’s open from 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm on Saturdays, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
