It was so popular there were often queues outside.
Now though, the Drift In café on Nessgate has closed. But its many fans don’t need to worry – its newer branch on Clifford Street is still thriving.
The business posted an update on its social channels saying: “We have moved from our Nessgate location to merge as one at our 10 Clifford Street cafe!
“Our head chef is here and creating a new menu soon – keep a look out!
“Exciting changes are coming and we can’t wait to share them with you. Thankyou for bearing with us and for your continued support.
“We are now Drift Cafe.”
Customers reacted positively. One said: “Fantastic news, I love this location! Especially the upstairs, it’s beautiful.”
Another said: “I visited yesterday and had the most delicious breakfast. I was worried when I couldn’t find you on Nessgate.”
