One person taken to hospital with chest pains after crash near Thirsk

Emergency services went to a two-vehicle crash near Thirsk this afternoon (Tuesday).

It was on the A168 at South Kilvington at 3.11pm.

Fire crews from Thirsk and Northallerton were called to the incident.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Five occupants were out on arrival of crews, uninjured.

“One occupant was transported to hospital via road ambulance suffering chest pains. Crews used small tools, cutters and spreaders to make the vehicle and scene safe.”
