Eden Camp is celebrating a successful end to 2025.
The North Yorkshire modern history museum in Malton is celebrating a year packed with events, exceptional visitor satisfaction, and continued growth in its school and group visits.
22,133 school children visited during 2025, which is nearly 9% higher than 2024.
Throughout the year, the museum delivered a diverse range of events including: two Living History Weekends; Tank Week; Back to the 1940s; the all-new Modern Military Weekend; Summer on the Home Front; and a variety of family friendly seasonal activities.
Visitor satisfaction remained high, with 90.5% of visitors rating their experience as ‘Excellent’, with praise for the museum’s value for money, the friendliness of staff, and their intention to return. The museum’s long established education programme also continued to thrive, maintaining strong bookings from schools across the region.

As the museum prepares for the year ahead, Eden Camp looks forward to building on this momentum with a packed line-up of events, extra educational opportunities, and plenty for families, history enthusiasts and curious minds to be excited about.
Confirmed events include the popular Living History Weekend with an all-new addition of the exhibits coming alive with re-enactors bringing their stories to life.
