Selling Press on Nails, Jewellery and much more, MayoNail have made their debut in York turning their small business to a nationwide success.
We spoke to Ruyi the owner and creator of MayoNail to get at the details of their new business here in York.
‘All the nails are handmade and its reusable so you can just change them seasonal or even to match your outfit, you can change very often. We currently have 500 designs already, even jewellery, silver gold and crystal’
‘We are currently a woman-based business, so all the staff is young women. We try to give all the staff opportunity.’
‘Now that I have a platform, I want to support more girls like me. We also help different charities as well, we support single mums or women suffering from violence, family abuse or like poor students. We give them a free set of press on nails and free jewellery to help them build their confidence. We have that linked on our Instagram and TikTok.’
‘So, if anyone is interested you can send your story to give you a small package of a gift. ‘
‘York is very good for small businesses , all the small shops gathering which is a good vibe for us.’
‘We have different design based on city, special ghost nails for York ‘
‘The cheapest would be £16 and most expensive is around £30 depending on design.’
‘Our nails are the same quality as a salon but most affordable.’
As for the future of MayoNail, Ruyi says:
‘We are starting workshops, silver rings to make with your friends and partners that can be personalised’
It seems that MayoNail has lost of plans to expand themselves in the future and are always coming up with new designs and ideas for their press on nails, jewellery and more.
