Firefighters were called in when people were trapped in a York property.
A crew went to the incident in Water End at 6.55pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Acomb’s crew were mobilised to an incident involving multiple people trapped in a room due to a failed locking mechanism.

“Crews used crew power to gain entry and all people were freed with no injuries.”
