Police are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage in York.
At around 10.30pm on July 15th, the victim was in her car turning into the junction of Rowan Avenue in New Earswick.
As she was doing so there was a large group of male and female youths in the road.
One male from the group kicked the car as she drove past causing damage to a panel of the vehicle.
If you witnessed this incident or have CCTV or doorbell footage of a group of youths in the area at this time please could you get in touch with the police.
They are also trying to identify two females in the area at the time who spoke with the victim shortly after the damage was caused. Officers think they can provide information as to the identity of the offender.
