Motorbike stolen from North Yorkshire car boot sale

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following the theft of a motorbike from a car boot sale at Learning Lane in Whitley.

The incident occurred on 14 June 2026 between 07:20hrs and 08:10hrs, when the victim attended the event and left their motorbike at the location. During this time, the bike was stolen.

The stolen vehicle is described as:

VRM: YT69 FZH

Make: Triumph

Model: Tiger

Colour: Dark green

Distinctive feature: Silver storage box fitted to the rear

It is believed that the suspect(s) may have used a van to transport the motorbike, as the vehicle is fitted with an electronic ignition system which keeps the steering lock engaged without the key.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who:

Recognises the motorbike from the attached image

Witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the stated time

Has dashcam or CCTV footage from Whitley car boot sale that morning

Has any information about the whereabouts of the motorbike
