Police have taken action to tackle “nuisance motorbike activity”.
Officers from Sherburn-in-Elmet neighbourhood police team have been conducting targeted patrols in Fairburn, Brotherton and South Milford to crack down on the problem.
Three traffic offences have been reported.
And a motorbike has been seized under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Section 59 powers allow officers to act where vehicles are being used in a manner that causes alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public, and we will continue to use these powers where necessary.
“We understand the impact that nuisance vehicles can have on local communities and want to reassure residents that we are actively addressing these concerns.”
Officers say the patrols will continue and more action taken as necessary.
