A motorbike was destroyed by fire last night (Wednesday)
Firefighters from York were called to the incident in Heslington at 6.36pm.
They described the motorbike as “abandoned”.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “They extinguished the fire using two backpack sprayers.
“The fire caused 100% fire damage to vehicle.”
