Motorbike destroyed after being set on fire in York suburb

A motorbike has been set on fire in York.

Firefighters from Selby were sent to the incident on Birch Close, Huntington at 8.21pm last night (Tuesday).

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said the motorbike fire “was ignited deliberately, and extinguished using buckets of water. 

“The bike was 100% destroyed by fire.”
