Michelin star chef to serve up four-course menu in York – for £780

A touch of dining luxury is returning to York Racecourse this summer.

Tom Barnes, chef and owner of Michelin star restaurant Skof, will be returning to The Sky Bet Ebor Festival on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 August 2026.

For these two days Tom will be taking over both the kitchens and the front of house for the Dante Suite, providing an afternoon of delightful dishes.

Diners can expect a “specially curated four-course menu showcasing seasonal ingredients, prepared in Tom’s signature style that highlights the best of modern British cuisine.

“Served with a choice of fine wines, beers and soft drinks as well as a glass of perfectly chilled Brut Champagne upon arrival.

“The culinary experience will be completed with a luxury Yorkshire Afternoon Tea.”

Tables for 2-10 are reserved for the day, and guests will have access to a private balcony with seating – which is directly opposite the finishing line for the seven races.

Full television coverage of the action, not to mention Tote at table courier service is part of this exclusive day out.

The luxury experience comes with a luxury price tag – and is priced at £780 per person.

Strictly limited in number, so “early booking is recommended”. To book visit the hospitality section of yorkracecourse.co.uk or call 01904 638971.
