Motorists have been warned about manhole covers being raised on a road in North Yorkshire
Overnight (Between the 20th and 21st September) unknown offenders have raised a number of manhole covers on the B1223 between Wistow and Cawood in order to steal telephone cables.
Police and BT are on scene motorists are advised to take extra care when travelling along this stretch of road due to the manhole covers not being in place.
