A man was attacked outside a York bar in the early hours of Saturday (9 October).
It happened next to Popworld on George Hudson Street just before 3am.
The victim was taken to hospital with head injuries. He was treated and later discharged.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information about anything that may have happened leading up to the assault, and possible mobile phone footage of the altercation.”
