Police have today released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with an outbreak of New Year violence.
The victim was assaulted on Goodramgate in York following a night out on 1 January.
He suffered a broken jaw in the attack.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in the image will have important information that could assist our investigation.”
