A man was badly injured during an attack in a Malton pub.
The assault happened at the New Globe Inn on Yorkersgate at around 11.45pm on Friday 29 March, but police have just released the details.
An altercation between two men in the beer garden resulted in the victim being punched in the face.

He suffered a fractured jaw and needed hospital treatment.
