Emergency services were called to a crash on the A1(M) this morning (Friday).
It happened on the southbound carriageway, close to the Wetherby junction.
Police, paramedics and fire crews from Harrogate, Boroughbridge and West Yorkshire went to the two-vehicle collision.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A request came from the police in attendance to assist with releasing one male from a vehicle. Crew power was used to assist.
“The male was handed over to ambulance personnel. Incident left with police and ambulance.”
