A man died and two others were badly hurt in a crash in North Yorkshire early today (Sunday).
It happened at about 1.40am on the A168 near to Thornton Le-Beans and involved a black Mazda.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Sadly, the male driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased by paramedics at the scene, and two other occupants were taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
Crash location
The road was closed for several hours while an investigation took place. It has now reopened.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
