A man has been arrested following a raid on a York supermarket.
The incident happened just before 8pm on Sunday at the Co-op store on the corner of Joseph Terry Grove and Campleshon Road near York Racecourse.
Threats were made to a shopworker before money was taken from the till.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Following enquiries, the suspect was identified and arrested 45 minutes later at his home address.”
They say he is a 28-year-old local man.
Officers are asking witnesses or anyone with footage that could help their investigation to contact them.
