A man was attacked outside a York bar on Sunday (7 December).
It happened close to Oscar’s Wine Bar & Bistro on Swinegate at about 4am.
The victim was assaulted and suffered injuries. He was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He was interviewed and released on bail while further enquiries are carried out.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV footage from the time of the assault, or shortly beforehand.”
