A man has been arrested in an operation involving armed police in York.
It happened at lunchtime today in Rosemary Court, between Navigation Road and Foss Islands Road.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We attended an address in Rosemary Court in York shortly after 1pm today.

“Officers – including specially-trained firearms officers – entered the property and a 43-year-old man was arrested in connection with a report of affray that occurred earlier today.
“The incident is safely resolved, although officers remain at the location at this time to conduct a search of the property.”
