Gemma McDonald and Karen Newell have been in community theatre across North Yorkshire for many years together, but one thing they noticed is a distinct lack of accessible performances. Working together, they have founded Theatre My Way: a project to help theatres create inclusive and accessible experiences through audio description, touch tours, captioning, training and accessibility support.
