Police are this morning guarding two houses in York.
The homes are behind tape on Trinity Court off Trinity Lane.
As we reported yesterday, around eight police cars and an ambulance went to an incident at a private address in the street at about 4pm on Thursday.
Last night the whole of Trinity Lane was taped off to both traffic and pedestrians, from the Micklegate end to Bishophill.
Today that cordon has been partially lifted. Traffic is still banned from entering, but pedestrians can walk down the street.

The houses that are cordoned off are part of a modern brick semi-detached development near the junction with Bishophill Junior.
A smashed window on the ground floor is boarded over. A police van is parked in front of the house and another behind.
Yesterday Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed they attended a private property on the street but were unable to give further details.
We are waiting to hear back from North Yorkshire Police about their investigation.
