A boy was left concussed after being attacked by youths in the centre of York.
It happened at around 9pm on Thursday 4 December in St Sampsons Square.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The incident occurred near a fast-food van that operates on St Sampsons Square and involved several youths causing issues around the area.

“There was an altercation involving a 14-year-old male victim being knocked to the ground and hit with tree branches. The victim sustained bruising and concussion.”
The perpetrators are described as male, wearing dark clothing with hoods up.
Police are asking anyone with information about the identity of the suspects to contact them.
