Hollywood actor Stanley Tucci has been filming in York today (Thursday).
The man currently starring in The Devil Wears Prada 2, was first seen this morning near York Minster.
After filming a segment on College Green he posed for a few shots by the Crumbs Cupcakery café – although he didn’t sample the wares!
He was next seen on Shambles.
York Minster shared the picture above on social media and said: “Stanley Tucci has been spotted filming outside the Minster. This is not a drill!”
Stanley has enjoyed a distinguished career in movies, from Prizzi’s Honour to the Hunger Games.
He earned an Oscar nomination for his role in The Lovely Bones.
A gourmet, he won Emmy’s for his travel and food series, Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. His memoir Taste: My Life Through Food was a best seller.
He’s believed to be filming a travel and food show at the moment, and was in Ilkley yesterday.
