Firefighters have put out several outdoor fires in the west of York.
At 9.30pm, a crew from Acomb were called out to reports of a number of small fires around Chesney Fields.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One in a bin was extinguished by crews using a fire bucket.
“The other in a play park was extinguished using a fire bucket and knapsack sprayer.”
