A deliberate fire on Filey cliffs was tackled by firefighters last night (Monday).
The Filey crew was called to the incident off Ravine Road at 5.45pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Filey responded to a fire on the cliffs measuring 5 by 10 metres.

“Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire whilst wearing respiratory protection.
“The cause of this fire was believed deliberate.”
