North Yorkshire firefighters tackled a fire at a commercial premises today (Sunday).
Crews from Selby and Tadcaster were called out to a report of smoke coming from a grain dryer at Barlby near Selby at 11.56am.
They found “a large amount of waste food product well alight”.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to put out the flames and damped down the area.
