A fire crew went to reports of a flood in a York home last night (Thursday).
It happened in Frazer Court at 6.53pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to a report of water flooding into a residential property through a light fixture on the ceiling.

“Crews gained access to the flat above and found no water leak. Crews isolated the power to the lights in the affected property and gave advice to the occupant to contact an emergency plumber to rectify the leak.”
