Firefighters were called out to a fire in York early this morning (Tuesday).
The incident on Walney Road in Heworth was reported at 4.04am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews attended a fire in a kitchen of a domestic property.
“The fire was out on arrival. The cause of the fire was an electrical fault with the fridge freezer.”
