Police have been called in after a fire was started deliberately in York last night (Wednesday).
Firefighters were called out to rubbish set alight off Garnet Terrace at 8.19pm,
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The cause of the fire is believed to had been deliberate and it was extinguished using knapsack sprayers.

“The incident was left with police informed.”
