Firefighters were called out to a fire in a wooded area in York last night (Saturday).
They were alerted at 6.32pm to reports of a fire off Danebury Court.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On arrival crews confirmed a wheelie bin well alight.
“This was extinguished using backpack sprayers. The cause of the fire was deliberate ignition.”
