York firefighters were called to rescue an ageing dog after she got herself into a pickle early this morning.
The crew were called to an address in Acomb at 3.04am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew were mobilised to assist to free an 18 year old Jack Russell who was stuck between a wall and a bed.
“The dog was released using small tools.”
