Several fire crews are on the scene of a fire in Riccall this evening (Thursday).
They were called to the blaze on Viking Drive at 3.18pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Selby, Acomb, York, Tadcaster, and an ariel ladder platform from Harrogate responded to reports of a fire in a bedroom of a semi detached property.
“The fire spread to the roof and into the detached property.
“This incident is currently ongoing.”
