Police are hunting for a York man after a serious assault in the city.
He is Luke Downs, aged 22.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate him and as part of those enquiries, we are appealing to anyone who has seen him or knows where he is now, to contact us.
“He is believed to be in the York area and the message to anyone who may be helping him to evade arrest is that it is a criminal offence to do so.”
Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is asked to call 101 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
If you have an immediate sighting of him, or know where he is now, police ask you to call 999.
