Experience the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from your own home

Experience the magic of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway – from your own home!

The heritage railway has introduced a brand new selection of station and lineside streaming cameras, so you can experience the sights and sounds of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) from anywhere in the world.

The new cameras will bring the railway to life on your computer, mobile device or smart television.

It’s a new YouTube Membership addition for the NYMR, and aims to help support the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Trust.

The subscription is £1.99 per month, and will allow subscribers access to up to eight additional live streaming cameras:

  • Pickering Station – looking towards the footbridge
  • Grosmont Station – Looking over Platforms 3 & 4
  • Grosmont Station – Looking over Platforms 2 & 3
  • Levisham Straight – Low down and close to the running line
  • Darnholm Uphill – Looking towards Goathland
  • Darnholm Downhill – Looking towards Grosmont
  • Goathland Straight – Lineside before the road bridge looking towards Pickering
  • Goathland Station– Lineside towards the station and water tower
  • (Coming Soon) Grosmont Esk Valley – Lineside looking towards Grosmont

The popular Goathland Bank camera will remain free to view.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is a registered charity and operated largely by volunteers.

The support through the subscription will go towards supporting the volunteer-led heritage operations, maintaining and expanding the camera network, and keeping the steam railway running for years to come.
