Emergency services, including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, were called to an accident at a factory in Malton this morning (Wednesday).
It’s at a business on Westfield Way, believed to be the Sofina Foods plant – formerly Malton Bacon Factory.
There are unconfirmed reports that an HGV driver delivering to the factory is the casualty.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services are currently dealing with a workplace accident at a business address on Westfield Way in the Norton area of Malton.
“We were alerted to the incident at 8.43am this morning by the fire service. Officers immediately attended along with ambulance, fire and the air ambulance.
“A man has been conveyed to hospital and the Health and Safety Executive has been notified.”
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: “We received an emergency call at 8.32am this morning to report a workplace accident at a premises in the Westfield Way area of Norton.
“A number of ambulance resources were dispatched to the scene, including two ambulances and the air ambulance. One patient was conveyed by road to hospital.”
