A man suffered head injuries after his car hit a tree.
The incident happened last night (Thursday). Fire crews were called out to Burnt Yates, north of Harrogate, at 11.50pm.
They found the car had gone into the tree.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One male was out of the vehicle on arrival of fire service and taken to hospital with head injuries, crews carried out a search of the surrounding are to ensure there were not further casualties.”
