Police have been searching for the occupants of a truck that crashed into a tree in rural North Yorkshire.
Fire crews were called out at 12.41am today (Sunday) after the pick-up truck collided with the tree in East Ness north of Malton.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On arrival of crews, the occupants had absconded from the scene.
“Crews carried out a check of the local area with the police but were unable to locate the occupants.”
