A car ended up on its roof after crashing on a York street.
It happened on Falsgrave Crescent, behind Burton Stone Lane, last night (Wednesday).
At about 8.15pm, residents on the quiet street heard a loud bang and scraping noises.
They came out to see this. The Vauxhall Astra had hit a white parked car and overturned.
Neighbours went to see if the could help the occupants of the car. But the two occupants managed to get out and then fled the scene on foot, one witness told YorkMix.
We have asked North Yorkshire Police if they are investigating the crash, or trying to find the car’s occupants, and will update this post if we hear back.
