Thieves broke into Coxwold Village Hall and stole cash.
They struck at the village, between Thirsk and Helmsley, between 6.30pm on Sunday and 8.15am today (Monday 10 June).
Damage was caused to an internal door and money stolen.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to the incident and any information around those responsible.”
