Crews tackled an incident in York city centre this afternoon.
York and Acomb firefighters were called to Skeldergate at 2.02pm.
There was a fire on the roof of a block of flats on the street.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews used a 9 metre ladder and one hose reel jet to extinguish.
“Fire damage was was only external of the property, but crews did do an internal check to ensure the fire did not spread.”
